The DeafBlind Association is a small, not for profit organisation assisting people with deafblindness or dual sensory impairment (vision AND hearing impairment). The Association is committed to many areas, such as (but not limited to): information dissemination, awareness, advocacy and referral, peer and social supports. The Association also distributes newsletters on a regular basis and maintains a small resource library.
The Association’s Executive Committee is made up of up to eight elected members, who give their time and support voluntarily. Committee members may be deafblind, dual sensory impaired (D.S.I), sensory impaired, representatives of relevant organisations, relatives of deafblind or d.s.i perons or persons who may have an interest in the DeafBlind and d.s.i field.
The Executive are nominated and elected at the Annual General Meeting. The Executive then meets monthly.

A great many people make our Association possible. It is difficult to thank everyone who supports us, but every contribution is appreciated and assist us in our operations in some way.
